Earlier this year I signed up for the Brigitte Giblin Tessellations BOM from Material Obsession & was really falling behind having only completed the 1st block here back in April.
So I decided it was time to get a move on with these and catch up as Block # 8 is winging it's way to me as I type! I've loved working on these as the fabrics are fussy cut & English paper pieced to create the design which is then appliqued to the background.
Hopefully this weekend I'll have the time to complete these last 3 and be up to date with this project which has been a pleasant distraction with all the bright vibrant colours.
Now this is effervescent! Your work here with these fabrics is amazing. I'll bet it's so much fun to watch these blocks come to life. Gosh. Exquisite. That's a good word for these blocks, too. Impressive. Whew. Thanks for sharing. You're just exceptionally talented.
ReplyDeleteOh, how fabulous. Love the effects you got with fussy cutting!! They are absolutely beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks absolutely fabulous! Once again, you are tempting me to start a new project!!! I have seen these blocks on Kathie's blog (MO) but I never realized they are made by the English paper piecing method.
ReplyDeleteThey are very prtty and alot of pieces to make one , they look like kolidescops ,alot of work to complete one I bet, and by showing the pieces gives an idea of how they are put together, thanks for sharing.
