Klosjes progress
June already, where does time go? All of a sudden I realised that August & my trip to France is approaching rather quickly & I need to crack on & finish this top in order to quilt & bind it in time.
Looking at the main piece I decided it needs to be a little larger.... another row of 3 at the side & across the bottom should do it, so just 50 more to sew.
So far: 12 more klosjes made bringing the total to 142. Happy stitching!
Well done Gisele, your klosje quilt is looking great. I have seen a great idea today for clamshells and of all places it was carved into the stonework on a fireplace where we were having Sunday Lunch. Will be working on this idea. I think the lady sat at the next table thought I was mad as I sat there scribbling it down. Shirley.
GORGEOUS ! So sweet in those delicate pastel tones ... heartful congratulations, Gisèle ;>)
Oooh, you make me feel like finishing mine.... but my klosjes are 6cm square, and I still need min. 350 of them.... Oh well, one stitch at a time, I'll reach my goal.
So you're going to France, by next August ? Me tooooooo ! I'll be in Provence next July + August. Maybe we shall meet ? Who knows ?
Gisele, your colours are so beautiful. I like the combination with the weathered furntiture. I have the feeling your klosjes are a bit bigger then mine (mine are 6 cm) - what is the size?
